Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28 1997) is an American actress and singer. The career of Wuhrer began when she was still in her teens. Her most notable role is Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders as well as Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a car dealer and police officer). Her family has given her three brothers. In her teens She performed in nightclubs in the night, as well as sneaking out of her family home to perform. At the Wooster School, at the age of 13 and began to study the art of drama. After that, she studied at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College located at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned instructor Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied. Born on the 28th of April, 1967 in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her father is both a German American policeman and an auto salesman. Kari is the youngest of three siblings. Kari sang in nightclubs when she was in her teens. She would sneak out at night to sing and entertain her friends. Kari at the time was thirteen years old, was enrolled at the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was also a student at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she had a teacher who was known for her work as Uta. Kari began her journey into acting at the age of 13 years old, and received her big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
